Year 6 Charity Day 2014

Our Year 6 pupils chose to support ‘Help for Hero’s’ charity. They designed their own stalls in effort to make as much money as they could to help others, namely ‘Help For Hero’s’. Every Year 6 pupil worked really hard to make sure their stall was attractive to their customers and well stocked with goodies and/or prizes for their games.

Well done to Eddie, Mary, Ella and Peter, who made a cake stall. Their stall was a sell-out and made a fantastic contribution to the total raised across Year 6. The cakes were so popular that our daily ‘Bread Lady’ selling morning snacks did not have many customers today! She didn’t mind at all, she was so pleased that everyone was supporting a worthy charity.

Whilst Year 6 were running their stalls, everyone else enjoyed visiting the various games and events going on around the playground. We had to feel sorry for CM Sports, who were being pelted by wet sponges thrown by Billy. Needless to say, they got very wet and very, very cold!

Well done, HG for such successful fund raising on Charity Day. I can understand why your cakes sold so well -they looked delicious in the photos! It looks as is everyone had lots of fun, although CM sports do look rather bedraggled!
