Olympic Scarecrow Trail

On Friday, we put our raincoats on, wrapped up our maps in waterproof covers, and began the Liss Olympic Scarecrow Trail. We quickly found the HG favourite scarecrow. Can you guess which one it is? There were so many brilliant scarecrows to choose from and they helped us to remember famous athletes well known for sports represented by the scarecrows. We were able to have our picnic in between rain showers, by the River Rother. As well as spotting scarecrows we visited St. Mary’s Church to see the Flower Festival before making our way back to school in the afternoon. We had a great time, despite the weather being a little wet!
