Our Harvest Adventure started with a visit to Durleighmarsh Farm. We sampled seasonal fruit and vegetables including broadbeans, cabbage and blackberries. Before we left we bought a pumpkin from the farm and brought it back to school where we turned it into pumpkin soup. It was delicious!

In our Art session, we used natural Autumn objects to produce these interesting mosaics. Has anyone tried to recreate these at home? If so, how long did they last? Can you send us a photo?

We were really lucky to be selected to receive a day out at the Milestones Museum in Basingstoke. We were shown interesting Victorian artefacts that were used in peoples homes. On Friday 30th September, we took part in the school’s Olympic Sponsored walk. We walked 5k around the school grounds. The weather was quite misty when we set off!
